We are all dying. It is true of the sinner, as well as the saint. We must prepare for life after death. Writing these poems comforted me when I was mourning my brother, Bruce (October 20, 1953 - November 3, 2010). I wrote Poems For the Dying 1). to encourage Christians, 2). to comfort the bereaved, 3). to make those battling terminal illnesses less fearful, and 4). to be a soul winning tool. Death creates an unexpected, soul-gathering harvest opportunity. There is life after death. Joy!

Rest In Peace
I read your message on the rear window of your loved one's car - R.I.P. They want you to rest in peace. But the Prince of Peace is at war with all who refuse His call before they die. There is no peace unless the Prince of Peace abides where sin once ruled within each of our lives. For you, peace is only in knowing that your loved ones know Him too. Rest in peace? For your sake, for the sake of your loved ones, I truly hope you do.
