We are all dying. It is true of the sinner, as well as the saint. We must prepare for life after death. Writing these poems comforted me when I was mourning my brother, Bruce (October 20, 1953 - November 3, 2010). I wrote Poems For the Dying 1). to encourage Christians, 2). to comfort the bereaved, 3). to make those battling terminal illnesses less fearful, and 4). to be a soul winning tool. Death creates an unexpected, soul-gathering harvest opportunity. There is life after death. Joy!

Message From the Poet
Jesus saves. The Good News never gets boring, outdated, or powerless. The saved need to hear it because its message is refreshing, but the unsaved especially need to hear The Good News. These poems can start the conversation that can win the lost to Christ. Choose a favorite and share it prayerfully. Please obtain written permission from the author
before reproducing any poem on this site in any form. Also enjoy haliburtonlearningtocount.blogspot.com

Bruce was 57 years old when he died. There will always be exactly 57 entries on this blog space to commemorate the years of his life.
