We are all dying. It is true of the sinner, as well as the saint. We must prepare for life after death. Writing these poems comforted me when I was mourning my brother, Bruce (October 20, 1953 - November 3, 2010). I wrote Poems For the Dying 1). to encourage Christians, 2). to comfort the bereaved, 3). to make those battling terminal illnesses less fearful, and 4). to be a soul winning tool. Death creates an unexpected, soul-gathering harvest opportunity. There is life after death. Joy!

Answer the Call
No regrets to claim. No blame to place. No forgiveness to be sown, for no wrong called this life to life eternal. This life was called by the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, the Chief Shepherd. And when he heard his Master's call, he answered. We must all be prepared to do likewise and forget regrets and blame when a beloved, loved one dies.
